Bodywise is an independent outpatient physical therapy office without any financial connections to Doctor or Hospital Groups. We’re able to treat patients from all physician groups and accept most insurances. We are proud to provide private, professional, 1-to-1 care by licensed physical therapists only.
Karen Poplaski, MPT
Karen Poplaski received her Bachelor of Science from the University of New England in 2000 and followed on for her Master of Physical Therapy in 2001. She has spent her whole career as an outpatient physical therapist. She has been the owner of Bodywise Physical Therapy since 2007.
Karen treats patients of all ages and orthopedic conditions. Her treatment focuses on advanced orthopedic manual skills, functional exercise, and patient education. Karen has been certified in dry-needling since 2016 and uses this treatment technique for numerous acute and chronic conditions. Karen’s dedication to patient care is evident through the personal care and attention she provides her patients.
Justin Lemieux, DPT
Lead Physical Therapist
Dr. Justin attended the University of Massachusetts- Lowell, where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology in 2012. Dr. Justin then continued his graduate studies at the University of Massachusetts- Lowell earning his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. His main focus has been on manual outpatient orthopedic settings. In addition, he spent 12 weeks in Illinois with a focus on chronic pain and pain management using “Pain Science Education.” He currently utilizes these concepts while creating treatment plans and educating clients as well as colleagues.
Dr. Justin believes in treating the whole person with a focus on improving quality of life using movement as medicine. In addition to practicing “Pain Science,” Justin received his certification in Lee Silverman Voice Treatment- THINK BIG (LSVT-THINK BIG) to treat Parkinson’s patients to address his interest in neurological disorders. He also enjoys treating vestibular/ balance disorders. Since starting his professional career he has received several certifications in spinal manipulation as well as functional dry needling allowing him to become very skilled at treating spinal disorders as well as headaches. He is passionate about learning new manual techniques which help improve overall patient outcomes.
When not in the clinic Dr. Justin can be found creating delicious culinary creations in the kitchen, hiking, target shooting/ throwing, kayaking or just relaxing with close friends and family.
Front Office Coordinator
Jessica Martin grew up in Derry, NH, and graduated from Pinkerton Academy in 2010. She worked in a couple of different customer service roles for the first 5 years of her career. She later moved into the Administrative Medical Field where she knew she was meant to be, which was working with patients. Outside of work, Jessica loves spending time with her family and friends. She is a lover of fishing, camping and waits all year for football season to cheer on the New England Patriots.
Front Office Coordinator
Lindsey Bangs has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Bay Path University in Longmeadow, Massachusetts. She has been working in the medical field as a front office staff member for over 10 years. When not in the clinic, she enjoys hiking, reading, baking, and spending time with her husband and their two cats.
Ryan Poplaski, MPT
Ryan Poplaski received his BS from the University of New England in 2000 and Master of Physical Therapy in 2001. Ryan has been the owner of Bodywise Physical Therapy since 2007. He has spent most of his career working in the field of orthopedics and sports medicine.
Ryan’s extensive knowledge allows him to work with patients from acute injury and post-operative care returning them to pre-injury status. Ryan focuses on a combination of manual therapy, patient
education, and functional exercise to get patients back to their optimal level. Ryan has received advanced training in the foot, spine, and more recently SI joint dysfunction. Ryan’s dedication to the
field of physical therapy is evident in his desire to return his patients to their previous activities.
Allison Debroisse, DPT
Dr. Allison is certified in Graston Technique therapy to evaluate and treat individuals with soft tissue dysfunction and promote healing of conditions such as muscle strains, tendonitis, ligament strains, and scars. She is also experienced in neurological rehabilitation to improve function and independence; she received her certification in the LSVT BIG program in 2019 to treat individuals with Parkinson’s Disease, and she has provided pro bono services abroad in Guatemala to individuals post-stroke and traumatic brain injury. No matter what the condition, Dr. Allison seeks to empower individuals through guided exercise, hands-on treatment, and personalized education so they may return to the activities they want and need to do.
Veronica Anatone, DPT
Dr. Veronica attended Springfield College, where she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2017. She continued her studies in Connecticut where she completed her Residency in Orthopedics, in addition to continuing education focuses on manual therapy and clinical education. Veronica is passionate about providing patients with specifically tailored programs and evidence-based care to help them meet their personal goals. She is excited to be a part of her patient’s healthcare team. When not in the clinic, Dr. Veronica enjoys traveling, playing sports, and participating in community service events.
Front Office Coordinator
Nicole is our chief patient care coordinator working with Carmela in the front office.
Nicole majored in communications at Northern Arizona University from 1999 through 2003. She has worked as an event planner, and a sales coordinator for properties of two major resort chains as well as a legal assistant for an estate planning firm in Phoenix, AZ. Presently, she is the Nottingham Youth Association Board Chair, actively engaging and coordinating youth sports, and a board member for her two son’s Cub Scout Pack, for the town of Nottingham.
Nicole is a mother of four who enjoys spending time in the splendor that is New England, cheering her children on in their various sports and activities, running, and cheering on the world’s greatest sports franchises the Red Sox and Patriots.
Sam Arsenault, DPT
Dr. Sam graduated from Boston University with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She also holds a degree in neuroscience. This brings a new dimension to Bodywise further enhancing our ability to treat complicated neck and back injuries.
Dr. Sam grew up in Epping and is excited to be working in her hometown. She enjoys helping patients return to activities that matter most to them. When not in the clinic, she enjoys spending time outside with her family and friends hiking, camping, or crafting.
Morgan Stotter, DPT
Dr. Morgan attended Ithaca College located in Ithaca, New York. She received her Bachelor of Science in Clinical Health Sciences in 2013 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2015. Her focus has been outpatient orthopedics with an interest in chronic pain and pediatrics. She has done significant additional training in the areas of pediatrics, chronic pain, and manual therapy techniques.
Dr. Morgan is a mom to a little boy which keeps her busy when not in the clinic.
Holly Lewis, DPT
Dr. Holly completed her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences with a minor in Psychology from the University of Connecticut and received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh. Holly brings to the practice interest and experience with orthopedics, oncology, vestibular issues, balance, and gait training. She focuses on a patient-centered approach through patient empowerment, understanding of their condition, and working as a team to help them return to the activities they enjoy. Outside of the clinic she is an avid hiker and distance runner, and enjoys training and showing dogs.
Carmela Schaefer graduated with her Master’s in Microbiology and Environmental Health in 1989. She has spent 25+ years working in all areas of the medical field including trauma units as a Paramedic. After she went on to become the Program Director for the medical assistant program at two different colleges in Florida.
She was born and raised in Germany to Italian parents and moved to Florida in 1991. Carmela moved to New Hampshire in 2016 and she and her husband currently reside in Brentwood. She is loving their new life in New England.
Carmela is a mother of three and Grandma to 5. She is also a dog mom to her three Yorkshire Terriers. In her free time, she enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends as well as hiking, crafting, and photography.
Bodywise is a privately owned clinic allowing the clinicians to provide patients with the highest quality of care available and do it in a cost-effective manner. At Bodywise you will receive very individualized one on one care unlike the large clinics. Bodywise takes pride in a very professional, friendly, forward thinking atmosphere.
Bodywise opened in 2007 and spent five years at 629 Calef Highway in Epping. In 2011 Bodywise moved to 285 Calef Highway Epping. Our current office has two private treatment rooms, an open gym, and a private waiting room.
Because this is the area where Karen and Ryan live as well as work, involvement in the community is foremost for them. Bodywise Physical Therapy sponsors local youth sports teams, participates in local events and visits area nursing and rehab facilities to help their friends and neighbors get the most out of every day.
